The products developed by Guided Therapeutics are derived from our biophotonic technology platform.  We use light to scan tissue and detect chemical and structural changes at the cellular level.  Unlike most conventional cancer diagnostics, our technology is designed to provide a result immediately after the scan and with no painful tissue sample to be sent to the laboratory.

Our first product is for cervical precancer detection and is the LuViva^® Advanced Cervical Scan.

Our second product, which is under development with Konica Minolta Opto of Japan, is the Esophageal Dysplasia Detection System, or EDDS.  EDDS is a non-invasive, point of care device that uses biophotonics to scan the surface of the esophagus known as the “Barrett’s Esophagus” area.
